To give you an overview of our situation, we came from 2 homes which combined were over 3000sq ft, into a house which is 980 sq ft, needless to say we were a little cramped for space.  We had arranged our furniture many ways to try and come up with the best possible arrangement to maximize our little space.  We heard of Simply Presentable through a friend and decided to give Deborah a call. 

Well, it was absolutely the best decision we ever made, Deborah came into our house and transformed it into a home.  Instead of telling us what to do and then leaving, Deborah was hands on and passionate about the transformation not to mention very knowledgeable.  Everyone in the house was involved, she included the kids right down to the family pets.  It was a busy, and productive two hours.  After the transformation was complete, we sat on our sofa, looked around and realized that we had never looked at our house from this perspective, the house now seems like it is a home. It is cozy and warm, with everything having that "right where it should be" feeling. It looks spacious, inviting and balanced.  

For anyone looking for a change, and on a budget, why buy new furniture and go all out when just a phone call and two hours of our time changed what we had, a house full of stuff, to a warm, comfortable and inviting home. We highly recommend Deborah to anyone looking to sell their home or just looking for change with what they have.

Thank you so much, I absolutely give you the credit for our home showing so well.  We listed on Saturday and it sold on Sunday night. We had four groups of people through and the comment from all of them was it showed very well! Without your guidance, we would not have even known where to start. We asked Deborah to help us out with ideas for furniture placement, new purchases and various room design features.  We have been thrilled with the help she has provided for us. Deborah’s emphasis on using what we have in new ways has saved us money and highlighted some of our pieces.  For example, we had a buffet hidden away in a seldom used room and she suggested we off-centre it in our kitchen; it looks great!  She helped us move art around and suggested ways to highlight the pieces we have.  She has helped us to select new pieces, but because she is not affiliated with a specific company, her suggestions are truly in our best interest, not commission seeking suggestions.  As important as her knowledge and keen sense of design are, Deborah is also exemplary in many other ways we consider important.  She is always on time and prepared.  She listens to what our goals are instead of pushing her own ideas or agenda.  She is kind and considerate and truly present in conversations; a gift in today’s society!  We have no hesitation in recommending Deborah’s services.  We have been extremely satisfied with all she has done for us and the beautification of our home!

Deborah is the best investment anyone can make when staging or decorating their home.  Honestly! I could spend hours looking at a room, second guessing my decision and letting others weigh in. Now Deborah walks in, offers suggestions and I put them into play.  I’ve never been disappointed with a colour she’s chosen or the way she reworks the room. In the past six months, she has now staged my house and helped me decorate my new residence.  She is someone whose opinion I respect, a person who I admire, and whose personality/decorating instinct is infectious.  You won’t be disappointed by choosing Deborah.
